First Aid Core Training (FACT) is an Approved Training Provider that has been providing face-to-face first aid training to organisations across Cornwall and Devon since 2016. We specialise in the following first aid courses for educational settings and corporate organisations:

Emergency First Aid (EFAW): 1 day

First Aid at Work (FAW): 3 days

Renewal First Aid at Work (RFAW): 2 days

Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA): 1 day

Paediatric First Aid (PFA): 2 days

We can also provide bespoke courses, which are tailored to meet the exact requirements of your organisation.

Our aim is to provide excellent up-to-date first aid training, which will enable candidates to apply basic first aid in the event of a medical emergency or injury.

The first aid training that we deliver covers the major areas of Emergency First Aid at Work, with particular emphasis given to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), management of injuries and medical conditions, and the role and responsibilities of a First Aider.

All of our friendly and professional trainers are First Aid Trainer/Assessors for NUCO Training and the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS), and use interactive and engaging teaching methods to support the candidates in order for them to become competent and confident first aiders.

Candidates receive a First Aid Manual to support their learning and on successful completion of a course, they receive a First Aid Certificate, which is valid for 3 years.

All of the courses that we provide are fully compliant with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), meeting the criteria set out by The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and our Paediatric courses fulfil the requirement for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

We provide courses at very competitive prices and are able to offer multiple candidate discount and discount if you can provide your own venue.

Furthermore, we can either provide first aid training in-house at your organisation, or at our local training centre based at Wembury, near the City of Plymouth.
